Improv
I co-led the improv club at Duke and still get on stage when I can. It has turned out to be the most useful training for product work I know: listen closely, and commit to a bad idea fast enough to find the good one.
What I get up to off the clock, and why I keep coming back.

Give me fresh snow and a free weekend and I'm on a mountain. The 360 cam usually comes along, whether or not my technique has earned the footage.

My latest obsession. There's a standing rivalry involved, and I take the score more seriously than I'd like to admit.

A habit that goes way back. I still play pickup on the gym courts, where the game is faster and more tactical than it looks from the sidelines.
Also in the mix: weightlifting at the gym, plus Formula One and cricket followed with more emotional investment than is strictly reasonable.
